We invite you to participate in the event. Below you will find more information as well as an entry form. Don't hesitate to join us, because this 2010 event will be unique again!!

Who can join our tournament?

This basketball tournament is for boys under 14 years. This year we are organizing tournament for generation 1994 and under. Teams from european basketball clubs are welcome to apply. Here you can find some pictures from previous tournament

You can subscribe by filling in the entry-form before March 15 2010. Please do so as soon as possible! Think about visas if necessary.

Participating teams

Teams are invited from Serbia, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina and other European countries. The maximum tournament capacity is 12 boys’ teams, under 14 (born after 1994). This year we are planning tournament with 12 teams.

Programme

The program provides tournament: qualifying tournament, semi-finals and finals for each placement

Evening fun

Evening time will be free for all participants. Kragujevac is a city with a lot of cafes, restaurants and clubs. There are several promenades where people have fun, drink beers (Jelen, Niksicko, Lav, Lasko, Heineken, …), cocktails, alcohol drinks, eat fast food or domestic specialties, etc. Organizer of the tournament will make evening for coaches on the lake Sumarice with beer and barbeque preparation (changeable in case of bed weather, which is rear in this time of year), while kids will have party in local dance club.

Game propositions

The rules of the game are those of the FIBA, with the following adaptations. Pool games and cross finals A number of pools will be formed. The winners of the cross-finals will play the final; its losers will contest the third place. Duration of the games is 4 x 10 minutes running time, with a 5 minutes rest. Each team may take 2 time-outs during one half of the game.

Finals

Duration of the finals is 4 x 10 minutes, with time stops and a 2 minutes rest. Each team is allowed to take 4 time-outs in total and 2 time-outs during one half of the game. Games will be played according to the 24-sec. rule. In case of a draw, there will be a 5 minutes extension. In case of a second draw, the next goal will be decisive ('sudden death').

Referees

The games will be led by official referees from Serbian referee organization.

Prizes

First, second and third place are reserved for the cups. Other basketball teams will receive plackets. There are also prizes for MVP of the tournament, best domestic player, best foreign player and the Fair-Play Cup will be won by the most sporting team of the tournament.

Cost

The enrolment fee is € 85 per team plus the cost for the hotel € 180 per person for 4 days. In case of a one or two nights stay, the costs are € 45 per person per night (see entry form). These costs include bed, breakfast, lunch and dinner in hotel Kragujevac. After confirmation of the teams entry, the enrolment fee, including the relevant costs for staying the nights, have to be transferred before March 15, 2010. Ways of transferring will be indicated in our notice of confirmation.

Travel to Kragujevac, Serbia

If you are coming by plane we will organize for you bus transportation from and to airport - Kragujevac (place of tournament). If you are traveling by bus than we will send you detailed map of the route from the place you cross Serbian border to Kragujevac. You will drive over highway (velocity limit is 120 km/h) and just 15 km of road is with 3 lines where speed limit is from 50-100 km/h. More info about your trip we will send you with our notice of confirmation.
